NG is full of people like that. Sadly you just have to deal with the masses who vote 0 and then disappear.
You do give a valid point and like Pacdude said before - not everybody truly understands the term constructive criticism.
You put alot of time and effort in each of your tracks, and they shouldn't be downvoted by some idiotic teenager who thinks "It's not my genre, blamblamblamblam."

I only needed to read the first 2 paragraphs, it's because this place is mostly 13 year old kids, people who act like 13 year old kids and crack heads that's why. Asking them to write professional reviews is like getting people of all religions to have a civilized meal together =P

I agree with... well... everyone that has replied. Never use NG's total score as a litmus test to validate your hard work. Instead, look for other people on NG who you know, or are familiar with their work. Look at THEIR scores and reviews. Let those be your gauge.
There's a reason why they have a riff-raff section on Newgrounds.

Hey, I'm 13, but I don't go around voting 0, I give them my honest vote, but usually, I'm too lazy to write comments, although sometimes I want to. I never vote on a genre I don't like, but I may listen to it, and if I like it, I will give it a good vote.

I think some people do that because they don't quite grasp the term "constructive criticism." If they don't like it then they say so in their votes, which is fine and all, but it would be better if people would actually put up why they didn't like it, and any ways that the said submission could be improved.
