I was a little unsure of what you had meant by the statement "Yes, I know this isn't the original meaning of the song, but this is my own take on it." i was afraid that you'd turn Switchfoot into something...innappropriate, or strictly secular at the least.

Awesome, i think your interpretation of the song is pretty much on.
